Puraty received a huge number of entries for the 2016 Puraty Scholarship award of $1000. Applicants had to write a 500 word essay on the benefits of alternative medicine compared to pharmaceutical drugs. Chloe MacDonald was the 2016 Puraty Scholarship winner and recieved $1000 towards her tuition and textbooks.
