Our specialised process pasteurises the kombucha's infusion microbial culture. While our Green Tea Kombucha does not contain living organisms as does traditional kombucha, it does contain beneficial by-products of the kombucha culture, including numerous acids and vitamins.
Green Tea and Kombucha
Sencha Green Tea; (Camellia sinensis folia) is made from the leaves from Camellia sinensis that have undergone minimal oxidation during processing. They are rich in polyphenols and antioxidants which can assist in neutralising damaging free radicals.
Kombucha; For the kombucha used in our tea, we start with an actual live kombucha culture to create a green tea kombucha infusion. This infusion is grown in a base of water and green tea leaves. The water from this mixture is then removed by a natural spray dry process. Given that this process pasteurizes the infusion’s microbial culture, our Green Tea Kombucha does not contain living organisms as does traditional kombucha. However, the beneficial by-products of the kombucha culture remain, including numerous acids and vitamins.
Spearmint; (Mentha spicata) assists the maintenance of healthy hormone levels. Spearmint also encourages antioxidant activity, which can help you go longer between meals without feeling tired.
Cinnamon; (Cinnamomum zeylanicum cortex) can help your body maintain healthy blood sugar levels. It contains antioxidants that can help your body manage LDL (bad) cholesterol, triglycerides and insulin resistance.
Kiwifruit; is loaded with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamins A, B6, B12, E, and potassium, calcium, iron and magnesium.
Use 1 teabag (1g) per cup (150ml) and infuse with hot water (80'C 176'F) for 5-10 minutes. 3 cups daily. Do not microwave.
