The Puraty Tea Scholarship Award

Puraty is a leading natural medicinal healthcare company that provides health solutions to people’s health challenges. We’re committed to sourcing botanical ingredients that are produced according to rigorous sustainability standards, including criteria for measuring ecological, economic, and social sustainability. Our products have never been treated by chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. After years of providing quality products for our customers, Puraty desires to help students obtain a quality education by creating a Puraty scholarship to encourage and support higher education. Students have the opportunity to earn a $1,000 scholarship to assist with the cost of tuition and books. Puraty gladly welcomes any student currently enrolled in a complementary and alternative medicine school to apply; the student must write an essay of the benefits medicinal cannabis.

How to Apply

Eligible students will:

Write a 500 word essay about the benefits of medicinal cannabis.

Who Can Apply

Any current student enrolled in a complimentary and alternative medicine course that is provided by a New Zealand education provider that is NZQA accredited is welcome to apply.

When is the Deadline to Apply?

All entries must be submitted by midnight 31^st January.  The winning applicant will be selected by 15^th February.

Award Amount

One gift totalling NZ$1000 will be awarded.

Selection Process and Notification

The Puraty Scholarship Committee will review all applicants and essays and will declare one winner. There will be no dialogue between Puraty and any entrant.  Once the winner has been determined, Puraty will inform him or her by email. The full amount will be paid towards text books and tuition costs.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Puraty Ltd may use his or her name and photograph and essay for publicity purposes including without limitation via public relations, marketing via the internet, in printed publications or otherwise.
